Tor-Inge is holding the role as Chief Technical Officer at Pelago Management after nearly 30 years in the global oil and gas industry. As CTO, he is safeguarding technical integrity, credibility, and professional judgement across business areas and services, defining technical methods and processes. Prior to this role, he held several senior management positions including Corporate QHSE Director and Rig Manager (Seadrill), Executive Director and Director Digital Collaboration (EPIM / Norwegian Oil & Gas Association). Since starting his career with Smedvig Offshore, he has been driving business- and digital transformation, leveraging innovation and future-fit technology to enhance manageability, efficiency, and agility of business processes across international landscapes. Mr. Gran holds a Master of Science in Safety Management from the University of Stavanger, and a Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University.
Mathias serves as CFO of Pelago Management, leading the company’s financial strategy and supporting its long-term growth. Prior to establishing Pelago, he served as Director of Finance at Phronteseas and spent several years in Investment Banking at Bryan, Garnier & Co. (Stifel). in Oslo and Stockholm, where he led the Nordic Business Services sector team. Earlier in his career, he completed internships in private equity, venture capital, and equity research across Madrid, London, and Oslo, further strengthening his analytical foundation. Mathias served in the Norwegian Armed Forces as a Deputy Platoon Commander. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Finance Major from IE Business School and completed Royal Norwegian Officer Candidate School.
Magnar serves as Operations Director and has over 35 years of experience from the offshore drilling industry. His extensive career journey began with foundational roles offshore, which led him into critical leadership roles, including Rig Manager, Operations Excellence Manager, Director of Operations Preparations and Director of Operations across major industry players like Seadrill and Smedvig Offshore AS. He has been responsible for the successful management of rig operation teams, driving operational excellence, and preparing for the deployment of new build drill ships, semi-submersibles, jack-ups, and tender rigs. Magnar served as Vice President Operations at Sekal AS and contributed his expertise as a Business Development consultant at Prosafe, and most recently as a consultant with Deep Value Driller Ltd.
Since the inception of Pelago Management, Alen Grabner has held several key roles and now serves as Project Manager, bringing more than 20 years of experience to the Company. He has held senior technical leadership roles on drillships, semi-submersibles, and jack-up rigs, giving him strong operational insight into drilling operations, marine and DP systems, and asset integrity. Having worked with various global companies like with Global Santa Fe (GSF), Transocean, Seadrill, Borr Drilling, Bluewhale, and Frigstad, covering drilling operations, newbuilds construction, rig stacking and reactivation, SPS and major class surveys, and complex shipyard projects worldwide. His roles have consistently focused on supporting project execution and technical management across offshore and onshore settings, ensuring successful completion of challenging initiatives within the sector.
